2005/11/01: Cyze & Associates Announces Geospatial Explorer 3.0 Beta Release

Cyze & Associates releases its beta version of their 3-D viewer, Geospatial Explorer, to registered beta users. This version departs from a traditional client/server application moving toward a highly distributed server-side ("back-end") data processing architecture. 2005/05/24: Cyze & Associates Announces EarthSoft's EQuIS data management system Interface

In collaboration with EarthSoft, Cyze & Associates, Ltd., announces an interface to EarthSoft's EQuIS data management system. The interface provides rapid access to EQuIS Chemistry and EquIS Geology data in 3-D while maintaining Geospatial Explorer’s friendly user interface. EQuIS is the most widely used environmental data management system in the world.

2005/05/11: Cyze & Associates at CAMUS International World Conference 2005

Cyze & Associates to give the folloing presentations:

Moving From ISAM to Oracle
This session will focus on fundamental techniques for choosing a migration path from ISAM to Oracle to provide the most optimum performance. Topics will include discussions on tips for hardware selection, software configurations, and performance tuning.

MK API Revisited
This session will focus on implementing custom solutions using the CA provide MK API and accompanying libraries. The session will focus on the C API interface and leveraging it within a distributed environment. This session will include a brief example of leveraging XML to allow users on different platforms to send requests to update data within MK tables.

2005/03/22: Cyze & Associates Announces Geospatial Explorer NOAA Beta Release

NOAA providing critical testing and feedback of the interface from Geospatial Explorer and Query Manager. Geospatial Explorer Version 2.9.X+ will contain an interface to the NOAA Query Manager.



2005/01/20: Cyze & Associates Delivers Beta FIELDS Data Mapper

Cyze & Associates delivers a prerelease (beta) version of the FIELDS Data Mapper to the Environmental Protection Agency’s FIELDS (Fully Integrated Environmental Location Decision Support System) Project. This tool has been designed to allow users to move data from different desktop data sources (Microsoft Access, Excel, and text files). In addition, users may wish to map (translate) columns from one data source to different columns in another. This version does not provide support for database schema (owner) names.
